Trad Gear Clinic

The goal of the clinic is to instruct participants about traditional gear placement, removal and use and provide opportunity for participants to experiment with gear, building anchors, weighing placements, etc.  There will also be an opportunity for placements to be discussed and evaluated.
An extension if participants are interested is a lesson on aid climbing gear, alpine climbing options for anchors and/or fixed protection.  A good part of the clinic will be on the ground but options to do top-rope trad/aid will be available.  Prospective participants should have a budding interest in lead climbing and reasonable experience with top-rope climbing.  This clinic will not be about setting up for top-rope climbing.

Where: Rock Gardens Parking lot
