Snowshoe Day - Fish Lake Trail

Looking to head out for a nice snowshoe and meet other outdoorsy folks in the community? Come on out and hike the Fish Lake trail this Saturday (9th). We'll leave the trail head (North end of Fish Lake) at 10:30 and snowshoe up to a wonderful view of the Bonneville Lakes and Boundary mountain ranges.

The trail's 7 km long and takes roughly 2.5 hours with an elevation gain of 323 m. Depending on what the group would like to do we can explore and go higher/ longer, have a stop at the top for your preferred beverage and a few photos, or anything else that sounds agreeable. We will be back in time to catch some of the other events in town. As of this minute Enviro Can claims it will be high of zero and cloudy so with any luck it we'll see the sun. Car pooling from town can be arranged. Social dogs are welcome as are children, leashes as needed.
