2012 Boutique Mountaineering Camp - Carbonate Range

The 2012 Boutique Mountaineering Camp (BMC) in the Carbonate Range is completely booked! The only spots remaining are reserved for ACC members, in honour of ACC-Edmonton Section centennial celebrations. Registration for all ACC sections opens on Tuesday May 29.
  • Week #1: August 5-12, 2012 - $1,095 (self-guided)
  • Week #2: August 12-19, 2012 - $1,695 (with alpine guides)
Our deluxe basecamp is a secluded spot in a majestic setting, located near a beautiful alpine lake in the Carbonate Range of the Purcell Mountains, B.C.. Nearby objectives are: hiking, glacier, ice, scrambling to technical climbing.

Your camp fees will cover: private tent and deluxe base camp accommodation, sumptuous meals, group climbing equipment, and transport of your personal gear by helicopter. Week #2 also includes guiding with a low guide:client ratio (1:2 or 1:3) in small rope teams, providing flexibility in climbing objectives.

Getting there: rendez-vous point in Golden, B.C.. Shuttle bus from Golden to trailhead, and personal fly-in/out options to camp are each available for additional fees.
